醫療器材名稱：人工腦膜。

醫療器材說明

人工腦膜经常使用於頭部外傷、腦內出血或是腦血管梗塞造成嚴重腦水腫的病人，於施行局部顱骨切除減壓術時使用，以用來包覆腦表面，保護腦組織。

使用時機

頭部外傷後造成的嚴重腦水腫。
腦出血後因血塊周邊水腫造成腦壓上升。
腦血管梗塞，預期之後會嚴重腦水腫者。

可能副作用

硬膜上血腫或是再出血：7 % ~ 21 %。
感染：3 % ~ 5 %。
術後因無顱骨保護造成大氣壓力對頭部直接壓力，造成腦塌陷。

術後照護須知

定期傷口換藥，以避免傷口感染。
